To all the students, their families, and faculty or office staff members,

Hokkaido has adopted a policy of gradually easing various restrictions while working to prevent the spread of infection by implementing the "New Hokkaido Style". Our university has been carefully discussing the "Crisis Management Stage" and the gradual re-opening of face-to-face classes during the spring semester.

With the partial start of face-to-face classes (after July 20), we have decided to revise some of the Crisis Management Stages and lower them to Stage 2B (restriction - middle to small) from Monday, July 13.

We will continue to monitor the easing steps and infection situation in Hokkaido and seek to ease the restrictions on campus in a phased manner. In order to implement a university education that protects "life" and "health", we must once again raise the "crisis management stage".
